Rattlesnake Bean

Didn’t germinate.

These seeds (and the other pole bean varieties I bought here) simply didn’t come up. I’ve never had an issue with this in my entire life as a gardener. It is especially disappointing, because I wanted to put them away as “leather britches” this fall.

Awesome Beans

I have about 13 rattlesnake bean plants growing right now. I think every seed germinated. These beans are very very tasty and are very pleasing to the eyes. I will say that there were some other type of beans in the pack. Some of my plants have white flower whereas the actual rattlesnake beans have purple flowers. The white flower beans have strings and no purple on the pods. I’m excited to see how the dry beans are in the future. I will buy these or at least collect seeds and grown them again.
