Ultra Thin Latex Pillow – Stomach Sleeper Edition

Smells like mothballs which is really hard to sleep on when thats all you can smell

Summary: Use the pillow for a couple weeks to break it in. Let it air out whenever not in use. Try placing placemats underneath the pillow to fine tune the height. Initially, uncofomrtable and smelly pillow that I regretted purchasing. The pillow does break in as you use it. I hope the pillow does not lose all support over time, I would imagine it's like a pair of shoes: once broken in it maintains that level of comfort for the life of the shoes. To combat the smell I frequently take all the covers off and let it sit propped up. After a few weeks the smell is gone. The next thing is comfort, it is a little too low for me but I found placing two placemats underneath the pillow gave it just the right amount of height. Now, the thing I noticed once I got it broken in and situated is the consistency of comfort. Most other pillows I've used I had to position my head just right or I might have neck pain in the morning. This pillow is just comfortable no matter how I position my head. In addition, the thickness doesn't change in the same way other pillows do. Other pillows will compress over time changing the effective height of your head. This pillow just maintains the same height all the time meaning I dont have to worry about having my pillow compressed just right every single night.

I have always been a stomach sleeper which means I want a thinner pillow and sometimes when you buy a pillow that looks thin it ends up being uncomfortable and really isn't for stomach sleepers. Well, this pillow from PineTales is EXACTLY as described. It is well made, soft but not too soft and is perfect for sleeping on your stomach. Once you have a "favorite" pillow it means you want to buy more than one (for the time that the pillow just wears out after years and years) so I have found a great company with a great product that ensures I have the perfect pillow for years and years to come.
