Much softer after a wash

This yarn is a lofty wooden-spun yarn that feels a bit stiff while knitting, but it blooms beautifully and creates a soft, warm fabric. I’m knitting stockinette, so can’t comment on its stitch definition. Not at all suitable as a warp, but could be a lovely weft in the right project.
