I have them in an art Nouveau style lamp with favrile glass shades. The colors are more vibrant, there is more light and the bulbs are cool to the touch. I was using 15 watt GE bulbs because they were the only ones that would fit. And it was getting harder to find. Your bulbs are just the right size. Time will tell how well your bulbs are going to last.
