I have been using these brushes for a couple years. I recently decided to gift brushes to my family members. We love them not only as toothbrushes, but we also recycle them as name stakes in our veggie gardens.

I like this toothbrush a lot. It does not last as long as a plastic one, but so what! It’s good for the planet. Don’t choose convenience over what’s good for everyone!

So long plastic toothbrushes

I won’t pretend that, at first, I was a bit wary - I mean charcoal and caster oil? But I’ve been on a journey to reduce my use of plastic, especially single use and disposable (I mean, who is still using their original toothbrush?), so I ordered a pack of toothbrushes and thought the worst would be that they’d be unusable. I can happily report that such is not the case! As someone who used soft bristle toothbrushes, the bristles here are comparable (a bit firmer, but nothing that is so noticeable that one would need to adjust their brushing habits). Far from leaving a charcoal grin, the charcoal of the bristles leaves my mouth feeling cleaner after each brushing. The fact that caster oil is a natural substance, along with the charcoal and bamboo handle make this a great option for those of us looking to move further away from plastics. Additionally, the packaging - not a bit of plastic, heavy paper stock boxes that can in turn be recycled. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product and can say with confidence that my next toothbrush purchase will be right here.
