Prairie Skirt Linen

The patterns have changed over the years. I have 2 prairie skirts that are size x large. I bought this 1x and its too tight to wear. It is not the fabric. I have enough linen to know the difference. The first skirt I bought was many years ago and fit fine. The next one I bought a few years later was a bit tighter but still worked. Now this one which is supposed to be a size bigger is so tight I can't wear it.
