Post harvest, these coffee beans are exposed to the humidity of the monsoon winds & rain causing the beans to swell and lose some of their acidity; creating this extremely smooth, mellow coffee.

Very smooth
I usually drink Columbian coffee as I prefer the smooth flavour, but having tried this, I could be converted. Very enjoyable at the start of the day. Thank you.

Very mild coffee
When I received my Monsoon malabar beans, I was suprised at the pale colour of the beans. I am used to dark, shiny beans from my usual supplier so I wasn't sure what to expect. Made my coffee in the usual way and was somewhat disappointed by its lack of body. Maybe I need to change the brewing technique... Expectation is 80% of perceived taste, I suspect. I have changed back to another coffee available on supermarket shelf until I find a solution to this.
