My recent purchase of B-Stock Fiddlerman Concert Violin Outfit

I’m a 68yo beginner violin student. I was impressed by the Fiddlerman/Fiddlershop promotional videos. I also read positive reviews. The offer of a B-Stock higher quality student violin outfit intrigued me enough to take the plunge. I found tiny blemishes in the violin’s finish that must have deemed it “B-Stock”only a keen eye would probably notice. Thanks Fiddlerman/Fiddlershop.

Truly Disappointed

I was super excited to receive this violin. While I understand this violin came from the B-stock, I was very disappointed in the one that received. This company claimed minor issues such as small scratches and varnish issues that were barely noticeable. I was shocked to see very visible varnish issues and discoloration. I am not sure if this was chosen for me because I used affirm to pay for it or what but I was definitely saddened by the sight of it. For only a $52 diffence in the “perfect” or a-stock, I was kind of offended and thought about returning it. Unfortunately, I am active duty and stationed in California and it would be too much to send it back. It even took me a while to right this review. I have barely touched it. This was a retirement gift to to myself. While I waste not expecting it to be perfect, I was not expecting what I received.
