Coll Lights
Wasn’t certain if the styling of these lights would fit with the style of my bike, since my bike falls somewhere between a bobber and a chopper, but have to say that I am beyond pleased. Not only are they great looking, but they are also bright, and priced fairly. I love Lowbrow.

Not impact resistant I guess
Got it installed in early July and by September 1st I was reinstalling the eyebrow stocker because the filament had fully detached in the bulb. The only thing I can think of to cause this would be some railroad tracks I had to take pretty hard (definitely wasn't scary level of impact...). Since this light only has one speed (which was fookin bright, I'll give it that) I wired it to use the hi/lo switch as an on/off, hoping I would be able to save the light from startup flicker and general usage hours. I ran it probably less than 10 hours the 2 months it was installed (not even sure cops in my area are aware of the always on law) so there's no way the filament burned up from usage. Also I included pictures to show that it doesn't resemble any popped bulb I've ever seen. 90% sure it wasn't even on when I hit the railroad I suspect did it in. Combine this with my surprise that the bulb is not "replacable" in the sense I was led to believe. Sure, I could completely disassemble the contraption they locked it into, desolder the solid links to the light, and then reverse the process. But that's not a side of the road repair the way I thought it would be from the description of "basic H3 automotive bulb". I dunno, maybe I'm sour on the whole thing because it happened within a handful of weeks of getting it installed but I'm pretty well over it all. At least the eyebrow had survived years of hard hits up to this point so back on it went. Looked awesome, enjoyed it while it lasted, but if it's gonna pop bulbs that frequently and I can't just go pick up an H3 from whatever auto parts store is closest, then I'm out. P.S. If you're like me and think black is always ground because rewiring so many things automotive, it is NOT on this light. Glad I checked that before installing it.
