Axed Chopper Gas Tank 2.2 Gallon

Almost perfect

I picked this tank specifically because of the shape and the fill cap location. I knew being an undrilled frisco mount it would be pretty custom fit on my chopper. I mounted mine to a 2002 Sportster chopper, and ran into a few issues. 1: The petcock bungs were welded at an angle that prevented any universal petcock with screens or tubes from being installed due to interference with the center. 2: the lower mounting depth and placement of the petcock bungs interfere with the sportster top motor mount bolt heads. I got low profile bolts, but they still touch. 3: the petcock locations do not work very well for a bike with a taller fork and frame angle, which means less useable fuel. If I were to suggest an improvement on the tank, I would eliminate the side petcock holes, and use only a single rear left feed line. Otherwise the tank is dope and really matches the design of my bike.

Never ever receved it. That’s why I will never order again.
