Fantastic Mallets! I had no idea when I was ordering these that I was going to get such amazing customer service as well. I will be using themexclusively from here on out for my Middle School groups!

Absolutely fantastic. I was looking for some new timbres across the hardness spectrum and Artifact really delivered! The Aureus have just enough articulation to distinguish them from my other soft mallets and the Quartus still maintain a warmth that most of my hard models lack. The unwrapped birch shafts have a wonderful texture out of the box that I'm sure will smooth out over time, but I very much enjoy the feel of the birch in my hands. Doubled down and went for 2 more pairs of the VC Ignaelum. Wonderful all-rounders.
