The AAC Statement e IC Cryo XLR cables made a noticeable difference in my system. The midrange seemed more fleshed out and the slight digital sheen in the highs I was experiencing from my streaming/DAC system vanished. I did also notice a slight improvement in a wider and deeper sound stage- more of a 3-D imaging from Magnepan 1. 7i’s, which isn’t easy to achieve with Maggie’s.

I have been outfitting my systems with AUDIO ART products for over a year, relying on them exclusively for interconnects. I mostly listen to 50-s-60s jazz & classical music. My preferences are warmth & clarity over minute detail. I was hesitant at first to purchase the Statement Series of interconnects as I was certain they would emphasize detail over everything else, as the case with many (much) more expensive cables. I am happy to report that I was wrong. Yes, there is more detail, but the presentation is well-balanced - still warm, but with even greater clarity and a bass response that is simply astonishing. I have mid-upper level components (MICHI/McIntosh amps/preamp, REGA planar 10 w/ Apheta 3 cartridge and REGA AURA MC phono stage, HEGEL Viking CD player, MARANTZ SA-KI Ruby SACD player, KLIPSCH Cornwall Speakers, REVEL Performa F228 Be speakers, etc.). I can say with certainly I am getting the best these components have to offer with AAC Statement interconnects. Cables matter. Cost matters. AUDIO ART offers the best of both worlds.
