We average changing out all the water filters after 6 months of use but I tend to swap out the first filter at the 3 month mark due to our high concentration of particles coming from our large well service system. This works for me and gives me the best tasting water in our area. We also use the UV system and I think that has a profound benefit on killing any critters who sneak past the filters system. All in all I would highly recommend this setup. Pic of our water filter system before we were fully finished with the Barndo. NO after thought it was planned in the build and yes I made this setup from scratch.

Filters

The filters work good, but it fails to filter as much as I had hoped it would. My water is very rusty before the filters and it's still a bit rusty after the filters, but it's still a lot better than not having the filters at all.
