Yama SY8 Top Beaker

Didnt take long to arrive and coffee tastes great.

I had to replace the existing one because the grommet was no longer sealing properly. This caused the water to start descending to the lower part too early. The grommet alone is not available so I bought the entire top piece which solved the problem.

We've used the stove top vacuum syphon brewing by Yama every day for about 12 years. It always brews the best cup of coffee and I never get tired of watching or showing off the process. This is our second brewer and when we weren't getting enough suction, we bought a replacement top piece. It arrived well packed and made the system like new again. I do wish there was a replacement part for just the gasket between the top and bottom pieces as that's what seems to wear out and would be cheaper to replace.
