Because the heel is 4 1/2 inches, it causes my toes to slide forward, naturally, and they are crammed into the toe area of the shoe. This is understandably very uncomfortable. The shoe looks great. It’s just that I can’t tolerate it for very long. I bought both a 6 1/2 and seven because I wasn’t sure which one would fit. The seven is slightly long and because I have narrow heels, I tend to step out of them. But the 6 1/2 is too small. I feel like Drusilla in the story of Cinderella. Can’t quite cram my foot in there! It just won’t go. So I’ve used a rubber soul liner and padded heel grips to put on the inside left and right of the heel area. It’s working.
