I have a 1992 Coleman Evcon Presidential furnace - model 3500A812. The old transformer was making a loud buzzing/humming sound prior the blower motor turning on. The new transformer was easy to install. This company offers tech support which is very beneficial for the DYI. I had a concern that the new transformer was staying warm when the furnace was off and it was making a faint buzzing sound. I sent messages to Tech Support and got quick answers from Darin. He said it was normal for these transformers to stay warm and that they can make a faint buzzing sound. He suggested using rubber washers behind the transformer to lesson the sound. Based upon my experience, I recommend buying from them.
