The leggings and associated top are without doubt the most comfortable and effective thermals I have worn. I have worn various types over 40 years of fly fishing in the highlands of Tasmania, but also during 17 expeditions to the Antarctic. The Smitten thermals are much warmer, and better fitting than even a well-known, popular New Zealand brand. I wore the Smitten thermals over three days fishing in very cold winter conditions, frozen ground, ice around the lake, water 4°, air temperature dropping to zero at sunset. The thermals kept me very warm, including fingers and toes because body, arms and legs were appropriately warm. The thermals kept their shape and firm fit, no sagging, and felt like a second skin. I didn’t even notice I was wearing them.
