If you are going to layer up! I would suggest just getting your size and not a size up. Very comfortable to wear under a welding jacket, an the detachable hood is nice to save it from sparks. It's a good work layer and casual as well.

Warm, pockets are nice and hard for items to fall out. Hoody is detachable. Would be nice for an inner pocket but, she will do more than just fine this winter

Seems to be a good quality Hoodie. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't meet NFPA 2112 standards though.
