Easy to install with a little eye balling setting it in place. Got confused at first with the oem bushing and this until I realized it just slides on with a little help with silicone grease or soap. Ps: if you push hard when its installed it an pop out of place. But this bushing does help with the crisp shifting

I installed this before ever driving my E36 on a regular basis but I easily see how much up and down movement the stock bushing would allow. This was super easy to install you can access it without removing any heat shields.

Nice little bushing

All good and a good option to the OEM or other aftermarket option. Would be VERY helpful to clarify to buyers they will need to use their OEM carrier sleeve. Another idea would be to post the OEM part number for the sleeve (if available). It's the little things and would make the purchase process easier.
