Alabaster Sparkle | Embossing Powder

I like it, however...

I was really looking forward to receiving and using this on my Christmas cards. I tried to find a demo on using this to no avail. Anyway, I stamped my image and sprinkled the powder over top as per usual. Now...I thought I would try using a box when heating the powder - oh boy!! Glitter still flew everywhere, it was like a disco party. I couldn't help but laugh, and am still finding sparkles around my kitchen. I did complete the embossing and it is beautiful, I would just like to find some tricks on how to do this properly.

Thus is the best embossing powder that I have ever used. It produces smooth images. Great for fine detail.
