This is the ferrule used on the Helle Lappland. It's a solid casting about .93" wide, 1.56" high and .80" tall. It weighs about 2 1/4 ounces on my postal scale. The slot is .094" wide and 1.258" long.

Looked good when I got it. But!

Waited several weeks for this ferrule for the Laplander I bought earlier. When it came it needed to be filed a bit to fit over the tang….. I thought! Warning,,,, The Laplander ferrule fits the knife but grind down the tang to get it on. Not the other way. Costly mistake but I’m learning. Eventually I’ll get my Laplander built. Just not today.
