This is a needle point blade that has good geometry for carving. It could be used for most cutting tasks but be careful with that fine tip in my opinion. Its a value for the price. Leave it rough or finish it all the way. Keep in mind that these are machine punched out from sheet metal. You will need to take extra time with fitment if you want perfection. I'd suggest buying a file guide to get everything squared up. Here is my creation. Its somewhat traditional, and definitely different from the norm. I finally found a use for that buffalo nickel. This is my second attempt at this style of knife. 1st was a Mora 120 blank . This one turned out a lot better. Excellent blade and sharp as can be. Went with Walnut burl, g10 spacers and Osage Orange.. Still working on the sheath.
