I think all brands of epoxy are a little different and you have to get some experience using each one you try before making a judgement. I was looking for a super clear epoxy. I watched a video where some guy tested a whole bunch of brands for clarity and a few other things. Wisebond and another brand pretty much tied in most categories but most important to me at the time, clarity. I bought some Wisebond and tried it out. It was more viscous than I was used to and the work time was shorter but I loved the price as it is significantly cheaper than any other brand I had used. At first I considered it my go to for the unimportant things I did and continued to use more expensive brands for countertops and floors. The more experienced I got with Wisebond, the more I liked it. I started using Wisebond for my color coat and something more expensive for the clear coat thinking the more expensive brands gave me more Uv protection or scratch resistance. But in the end I realized Wisebond was by far the prettiest epoxy I had tried. I knew how to use it and am able to get consistently good results using it as the color coat and the clear coat. I’ve used a lot of the big name expensive epoxies and I get better results with Wisebond at almost half the cost in some cases. So now it is all I use. Shipping is fast and prices low. You have to buy enough to get free shipping or buy it from Amazon. I’ve never ordered that I couldn’t find a 10% discount code. I’ve never used any of the other Wisebond epoxies but if I needed a different type of epoxy, Wisebond would be the one I tried first. Colorants are great and the price of mixing buckets rivals Walmart. I just wish they had more sizes.

Great product and company. I was a rookie and had problems with another product. I called the customer number and the gal that answered the phone knew all the answers. Solved all my problems.
