Parker Short Handle Butterfly Safety Razor 87R

it’s a little too aggressive for me. i’ve tried a couple of different razors and it seems that i keep returning to my Mercur 34c. but i do like the ease of operating the butterfly.

Old School

Nostalgic. Reminds me of watching my Dad shave when I was young. This razor has the bulk which prevents me from having to apply pressure. Great cutting feedback from this razor.

I'm liking this 87R

First shave was a learning experience with it as for me it's more aggressive than my Merkur 34 HD I started learning with a month ago. Second shave with it went great with the Astra blade along with a better understanding how to shave with it. Overall I really like it. I do really like the butterfly setup for ease of cleaning and changing of the blade.
