I’m really disappointed with my experience with Absolute Skin. I ordered Medik8 Retinol 3TR and was supplied with a phased-out / older formulation, without this being disclosed at the time of purchase. For active skincare - especially retinoids - formulation differences matter, particularly for those of us with sensitive skin. After trying the product, my skin reacted badly and I experienced a significant breakout. This older formulation is known to be harsher, which made the experience genuinely unpleasant and avoidable had proper transparency been provided. What’s most frustrating is that I raised this concern politely and clearly via email and have still not received a response over a month later. Supplying discontinued active skincare without disclosure, then failing to respond when a customer has an adverse reaction, is not acceptable. I wouldn’t purchase from here again and would urge others with sensitive skin to be cautious.
