Prism Tail Light LED Replacement

I started with the gen 1 PS41 welded under my rear fender so it gets to see plenty of grime. worked great for years. One day I think I kicked a rock into the wiring it ripped the wires out of the board. Same night I ordered a Gen 2 for easier roadside repair just incase it ever happened again. I did end up fixing the Gen 1 for a spare but it required some surgery. Comparing the two I feel like the Gen 2 light is just a bit of a darker red color…. Both are very bright but a 2 is just a little less “in your face”. Might be placebo but just my impression.

Awesome light, non-traditional use

I needed a large LED board for taillights in a '69 Jeep Commando since the bulb sockets were trash, dim, unreliable. I epoxy the boards at the corners into my housing. Fits great beneath the lens and puts out lots of light. Thanks for such a great product.
