2025 - the year I stepped off the edge into the unknown. It takes TRUST to make the leap... this is the first year to purchase the Vosges Haut Chocolat Advent Calendar ~ themed Le Jardin de Cacao, contents undisclosed. During the season of Advent, each drawer presented a mystery to be opened on the particular calendar day, to reveal the treasure contained within the golden wrapping. What an exquisite experience each day as the unfolding yielded something new or something familiar and traditional yet with a delightful signature Vosges twist. A standing ovation performance of imagination and amazing chocolate pairings led to an encore performance. The purchase of an additional Le Jardin de Cacao Advent Calendar as a gift to be given along with an Advent Refill followed. ( as well as an unanticipated surprise gift of an additional Advent Calendar ! ). The celebration continues from 2025 through 2026 and onward- throughout Advent, New Years, Candlemas and now the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse ( my "magickal totem" ). Through the Le Jardin de Cacao Advent Calendar and Advent Refill, the genius of Vosges Haut Chocolat gently reminds one to look upon each day of life as a mystery yet to be revealed, with TRUST that the treasures within the Golden Wrapping will bring delight and as it unfolds... to richly inform all of one's senses with goodness.

I’m happy to admit I bought the calendar last December and a refill in January. The chocolate is out of this world good and the advent calendar experience was fun enough to repeat. Bonus that the refill was on sale.

My favorite thing!

The advent calendar is probably my favorite of all the things I have ordered from Vosges so far! I love the wide variety of treats, the generosity of getting three per day so that sharing is a real possibility, and the great little accompanying booklet that's so beautifully designed. I'll be looking forward to ordering one next year!
