Napoleon's Old Guard Grenadiers

Lovely sculpts with lots of different heads and build options all with great detail.

A little aged, but still a welcomed edition.

I base my infantry 10 to an 80mm base, so prefer the lighter plastic over metal. I did have some Warlord Games metal unpainted Grenadiers, so though I would get the Victrix plastic ones instead. My understanding is that these are some of the earliest Victrix plastics and I think their age is starting to show. The figures have a small mould line around them (which was easily removed with a blade) so prep took a bit longer, though facial detail is good. They have gone together nicely, all parts fitting well, other than some knapsacks sitting with gaps between the backpack and the figure. The bayonets seem prone to snapping, I have lost 2 , but they have glued back on with Contaca glue. I have made up my first unit of 20 men and they look good and for me are a better option than metal. You get 60 figs to a box, on 4 sprues, so you get 4 command stands, making this a good value box for me. Overall, i am happy with the purchase and once painted, should look the part.
