Perfection

Very strong, works for center stud above fire

Three months and no issues. Holds a 65" TV on a single center stud above a gas fireplace. Fireplace has yet to get too hot for the TV as well. We leave the TV in the down position 90% of the time. Only suggestion is to provide a nice template with the single stud adapter like the one that comes with the original mounting bracket. Luckily my measurements were on point, but you could ruin your shot at installing this on a single stud without perfectly drilled holes.
