More woodsy fragrance please
I love fir and cedar fragrances, so I was excited to try The Emperor. I find it mildly pleasing, I’m burning it right now. I would like it to have more tree hints so I can smell it from the other room. Some Shy Wolf candles do that better than others which is probably because different scents naturally diffuse better. Two of my favorites are Tiny Dancer and Death.

I love this brand but this scent isn’t great
I’m love this brand and the quality of their candles. I will always order them but this scent didn’t match the description for me. It smells more musty and not in a good way.

Love it
As with other Shy Wolf candles, I love the scent, it burns well, pleasing to look at. Emperor has a warm scent, I can smell it when it is unlit, and good diffusion when lit.
