Comfortable, great fit, and great for wider feet (especially for those who always have a hard time finding good shoes anyway)

So Ive only use these shoes for a couple of months and I use them on the back end of the indoor track season for weight throw and I'm still using them as I tansition into the outdoor season. So far I'm very pleased with them! They are out the box really comfortable and only took about a week and a half to feel broken in (obviously not fully). Overall speed of the shoe is slightly slower then nike which persoanlly am liking so far. But, what I found interesting about these shoes is that depending in what surface you were using them on they would have a pretty different speed to them. Now, this will just naturally happen with any shoe, but there is a abnormal difference when it comes to concrete, wood, and basketball-court-esk floors. I found they are significantly faster on wood surfaces then any other surface where I found with other Nike and puma throwing shoes (my previous shoes) that they only had a minor change in speed. And significantly slower on basketball court surfaces. I actually found this to be pretty nice for me personally. For me in the weight throw i struggled to keep connection with my lower body and upper body so having these faster shoes required me to work the ground much more then a slower shoe because if you didnt youd be more likely to slip. And that as a result helped me strengthen that ground connection so I didn't loose my left axis in the throw. Overall in performance I would say that the northern light and velaasa throw shoes in general are really good for hammer/weight, they don't take too long to start breaking in, and they are very comfortable while having a pretty sick design. I think for a middle of the road price shoe, they have ment my expectations and now I just need to see how long the last before they exceed my expectations!
