Two Cups of Caterpillars™

My daughter is 16 years old and still loves to watch the caterpillars grow into butterflies. After purchasing a kit many years ago, I only purchase the caterpillars and reuse the kit. We have watched both the caterpillars and pray mantis over the years and have had a lot of fun. My only recommendation: do not release the butterflies in the early evening when the birds are still awake. The birds in our neighborhood really like butterflies. :(

This is the third time I’ve purchased caterpillars for my grandchildren. I ordered them early and put a note in their Easter Baskets. We’ve had great results. The kids like anticipating their arrival and LOVEwatching them hatch.

I have had some major losses in my life this last year. I needed something to look forward to, new life. The little caterpillars/ butterflies helped me so much. I shared release day with a couple of my friends. They enjoyed it so much. Thank you
