I was looking for a good, high quality mat with little ornamentation. The Cerus Plain Mat has exactly the right dimensions to accomodate my Steel Challenge race rifle. Quality of the mat exceeded my expectations. A non-slip lower surface is matched by a soft upper surface that protects the gun while holding it in place. A quick shake-off has kept the working surface clean and ready to go.
