Vixen and the Aurora Ornament

I bought this as a replacement to one that my husband had broken, it was a previous version bought when we were in NWT and it was so beautiful. It was a great memento. The replacement I received is nice, but the colours are different than pictured on the website, more beige than the orange/red of the fox, some places where the picture shows grey, black is used instead and the eyes are a little wonky on mine. A nice product, and I know they will be unique since they are “hand printed” but can’t help but feel a little disappointed that it’s not as vibrant or to the same calibre as the one pictured on the site (or my poor broken one). I’m not sure they are all painted (or hand printed) by RC himself as the painting on this one seems hesitant. Not a bad product, just a bit expensive for what I was expecting.
