The Moto Jacket in Whiskey Steerhide

Perfect fit!

One of the most beatiful jackets I've ever seen.

This jacket blew my mind immediately upon opening the box. The leather is unbelievably soft and supple, and at the same time very thick and sturdy feeling. The craftsmanship is stellar at every detail. The whiskey color is special, and looks even more stunning in person. Sadly, I'm between sizes, and I just couldn't make it work. Believe me, I tried! I can only imagine how incredible this jacket will age through the years. Great job, Taylor Stitch!!

So far, very impressed. This jacket is like a mix of a soft embrace and a pleasantly weighted blanket. I cannot wait for the leather to age with me! Fit-wise, I am 5'6", around 155 - 165 pounds, big thighs. In general, I tend to fall in between a small and medium with clothes making it a little harder to buy online sometimes. I also own the Ridgewood Cardigan in the S - 38 size that fits me well. I purchased this jacket in size S - 38, as well, and overall I feel that it fits well. The length of the trunk works well for me (often, I find jackets are too long and/or narrow for me but this jacket is perfect). The sleeves are a tad long which sounds like it may have been intentional being a moto jacket. Zipping up the jacket, it feels snug throughout the torso, however not tight. One small complaint is how the folded leather when zipping up the sleeves presses against my wrists and often catches on my watch which gets a little annoying. Hopefully, the piece of folded leather expander will soften and not get in the way as much in the future.
