I have tying as a commercial tier for about 45 years and have gone through countless scissors, both cheap and very expensive. I am a dry fly specialist and I use synthetic material whenever I can. Those materials are brutal on scissors. Premax Embroidery Scissors are far an away the best scissors for the money. They last a ridiculously long time. I love the shorter, straight edge version and I have the larger size as well.
