Initially I was SO thrilled...then I washed it. :(

Initially I was SO thrilled to receive my package. I ordered it on Monday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday afternoon. I added 3-day shipping in hopes I would get it by my Thursday night quilting class. I did. I was happy. The quality was great - nice sheeting material. Not too wrinkled. A quick wash and dry and I was set. Or so I thought.... This material WILL shrink after washing and drying. It is 100% pure cotton, so expect it. After washing and drying, my fabric measured about 111" wide. We don't use the selvage, so that cut it to about 110" wide at best. It will shrink in length as well but I didn't measure by how much. The saving grace is that they sell whole yards only. I had enough 'leftover' length to make up the rest of the 120" width that I had to have. Be prepared and order extra. Initially I was very upset at the shrinkage. Customer Service contacted me and we talked it out (well, emailed it out) and figured out why the width was no longer as expected. They were nice about it, and because they had gotten the material to me in time, I couldn't be too upset. As a result I have increased my originally poor rating up to 4 stars.
