Weirdly shaped

I was bummed this t-shirt didn't work out for me. There were so many positive reviews, I was excited to love this shirt. Unfortunately, the shape of the shirt is super funky and did not work on me. I'm a 5'8" female and bought a small which was really long and a little loose in the body, but the collar was super tight and closed in at the neck. I'm not sure how others don't have trouble getting their head into this shirt.
