Silk Queen Pillowcase - Ivory

Repeat purchase!

I wanted to invest in the highest quality silk pillowcases I could find so I did my silk research prior to purchasing and found that all silks are not equal. Sleepy Silk is of the highest quality. I especially love the zipper that keeps the pillowcase in place and stops it from sliding off during the night. I love the Sleepy Silk pillowcases so much that I’ve now started purchasing them as gifts. I prefer the ivory colour because it looks so elegant like mother of pearl and blends well with my existing white bed linen. I would love it if the pillowcases were available in prettier pastel colours like lilac and a soft mint green. I do quite like their pink and the silver but I find most of their colour range is a bit too bold for me, perhaps to hide stains. I know the lighter colours can show makeup residue if it’s not been removed properly. This doesn’t bother me as if it happens I just replace with a clean one (I have two!) and it washes clean (in a delicates wash bag) easily with no stains. If in doubt I would buy the ivory for female gifts as it goes with everything. I think a set of these pillowcases would be ideal as a wedding gift and for Mother’s Day, Christmas and Birthdays.

The softest silk on the market

We are already silk converts, but finding Sleepy silks pillowcases after a few years has been great. They not only hold up in the wash, have a zip (freaking amazing) but are the softest silk cases we’ve used. 10/10
