Comprehensive Carburetor Repair Kit for Marvel Schebler

I would not recommend this “comprehensive” carburetor kit for a Ford 9N. The quality is very poor across the board. The springs didn’t fit at all, and the choke flap wouldn’t fit the housing properly without modification. The jets are made of extremely soft metal—one of mine broke just from normal installation pressure, which should never happen. Machining is rough, threads feel sloppy, and overall the parts don’t seem to be made to proper tolerances. This is not a true drop-in rebuild kit. The YouTube video is just as frustrating. It skips steps and doesn’t clearly match the parts in the kit, making the process even harder. Overall, this kit caused more problems than it solved. I’d strongly recommend spending a little more on a higher-quality or OEM rebuild kit.
