Such a healthy supplement for the grains. It makes the kefir so rich and creamy. It makes the grains so much more resilient. They are so happy when I give them this extra boost. I can see their little teeny mouths smiling up at me with gratitude. 😄

Your kefir will be a little less sour, more balanced, much creamier and thicker, and much more resilient to stress. When I introduce newbies to making their own kefir, I give them a starter kit: spoon, strainer, grains, and this booster. And, I believe, this product improves the health benefits of the kefif. We all do it, you let your grains rest, they get weak, & sometimes they slowly die. If you've fermented long enough & live a busy life, you've seen this happen, we hate to admit it, but it's a reality I've come across countless times.
