Alhambra 8Fc--spectacular guitar and service!

I live in Michigan, but I had the pleasure and benefit of going to Geoff's shop and trying out two guitars, one of which I bought after I got home (the Alhambra 8Fc). Through dozens of emails, Geoff accommodated my many requests and entertained all my questions. Even though I liked the 8Fc guitar when I visited Geoff's shop (where he pulled it out of the box for the first time), I had Geoff install my preferred strings, and then he did his masterful setup. The guitar that arrived at my home was almost like a different instrument: far more brilliant sounding and exquisitely playable. For better or worse, buying a guitar in 2025 often requires buying it online--sight unseen. For anyone considering a classical or flamenco guitar, I would highly recommend going with Geoff. He does not just sell and do a quick set up; he is a skilled craftsman who knows how to bring the best of his guitars while also meeting your personal needs.

It has been a pleasure doing business with Goeffrey. Alhambra doesn't distribute this model in the US but Goeffrey brings them in by special order himself. It's a great guitar! And Geoff set it up personally before shipping it to me, playability is excellent. He was very helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely buy another instrument from him again.
