Nice, modern look

I bought this for my wife. I wanted to get her something nicer for her new job. It's a little smaller than I thought. I was worried it would be too large, so I guess that's ok. I thought her laptop was 15", but it's 16". I barely fits in the padded slot, so it just goes in the main compartment. I'm not sure the backpack feature will get used, so it might look even better without the extra rings. Overall, she loves it.

Perfect

Took this on a work trip and it was perfect! I wondered if it might look too casual for a business formal event when I wear suits but it is fine. Great organization, and the shoulder strap was perfect for airports. Interestingly on one of my flights it easily slid under the seat in front of me but on another I had to scrunch down the top a bit. For this reason I wish the bag were an inch shorter. That is my only critique.

I had high expectations for this bag as far as functionality, and I’m happy to say that those expectations have been exceeded. And although I chose this bag primarily for function, I am so pleased and happy to see just how gorgeous it is in-person. The hardware is shiny and bright, and the saffiano leather has a beautiful ‘gleam’ to it that has truly been resilient. I use this bag mostly as a backpack, and it’s so easy to don quickly without a fuss. The hardware spins at the base, so that the straps don’t get all twisted and tangled when I’m throwing it over my shoulders. I could go on about the detailed design aspects about this bag that I appreciate so much.. but I will say that “good design is invisible”, and this bag has achieved that with beautiful, quiet luxury.
