Poly Canvas Fabric Banner Printing

Not PURE CANVAS

Feeling duped. Canvas to me means cotton or linen - natural fibers - NOT plastic. The entire reason I ordered two of these banners was to avoid using plastic. Why name a product "Pure Canvas" when its made out of poly-cotton -- ? The description does mention that poly-cotton is used, but then states that the banner is made of "natural plant-based raw materials". You can feel that this is a synthetic fabric. Two stars bc the print job was fine, the delivery was speedy - and the benefit of a fabric banner is that it can be shipped in a flat pack, not a tube so the shipping price was slightly reduced. It is extremely difficult to source biodegradable, sustainable banners. Most banners are for short-duration use (ours were up only 3 weeks to announce a one-off event). Why can't companies offer truly environmentally-sustainable options and simply state in the description the estimated amount of time that the banner will last? I didn't need banners that will last for years. This description is misleading and false: "Canvas banners have no carbon involved in the manufacturing process." If they used organic canvas without petrochemical fertilizers, then that could be true, but in this case, it is entirely false. Polycotton is a plastic/ cotton blend.

Great Banner, not so Eco-Friendly

Ordered these banners for an Earth Day event because they are marketed as eco-friendly canvas. Which is true. What I was not expecting is that they shipped directly to me in California via air-freight from China. I would not have ordered form this company if I knew that. The banners are great quality, but as a consumer, I choose not to order products that are shipped such a great distance.

Looks great! Perfect for our zero waste event

We were looking for a low-impact banner that we could use year to year, but avoided plastic and synthetics. We were pleased with the quality!
