Organic Sencha Green Tea

I have been purchasing this tea regularly for several years and have never been disappointed with the product or the service. I enjoy my afternoon cup of tea, and even take this with me when I travel!

It’s not a bad sencha, but I wasn’t especially impressed. The dry leaves have a strong hay-like aroma, almost like guinea pig hay. The brewed tea is very light and mild, with little flavor or depth. I tried using more tea to make it stronger, but it still came out quite mild. It’s pleasant enough for an everyday tea, but I was expecting more flavor and character from a sencha at this price. Probably wouldn’t repurchase.

I like the ability to automatically receive my order every three months. And I especially like the option if I decide to skip an order.
