Evenheat Kiln - Studio Pro STP with Window

I love it!

This is the first time I have used a kiln. It was so simple to use and easy to program. The window allows me to see my project and learn how glass reacts to different temperatures. I would highly recommend!

Excellent Little Kiln

I've been using this for stained glass painting. The ICON controls are simple and easy to use. When I first explored the touchscreen controls it was intimidating but have it figured out. I can easily set up custom programs. I started using the default fast slump since it hits the same temps needed for most glass paint, but now use a custom program which is shorter in duration. I chose this kiln because of the comparatively low energy requirement and not because of cost. I can run it on a regular 15 amp 110v house outlet and have had no issues. I did one glass fusing project that was a crude yet fun experiment using a preset program. I keep the kiln on a metal baking sheet on a wire garage shelf, and move it to the garage floor when I need to use it. The size is convenient. I'm so glad I chose this kiln and will buy another when this goes.
