The screws that came with this are black. I am now on the hunt for brass screws.

I love them. They look very different from the usual handle you get and have that heaviness that makes them good quality. If you don't like the signs of time and use on them, then they are not for you. I love that they age with the rest of the kitchen and have that look of aged brass after a while.
