Dermix "Chews" v. Dermix Liquid

It was difficult enough to go through the yearly spring dog hair shedding while waiting for the Dermix supplement to arrive, changed from a liquid, now only available as a chew form. I began using the Dermix Chews 07/12/2024. As of today 08/13/2024, thirty days of dosing a K9 weighing under 21 kg. Not pleased with the formulary change. The dog's coat is dull, dull, dull!!! Now add the scratching. The liquid formula was much easier to dose and this liquid supplement was easier on the GI tract plus the liquid was absorbed into the dog's blood stream more efficiently than these chews. I am unsure if more time is required for my dog to respond or if this product is a washout. Nevertheless, this K9 owner will be searching around for a different brand for a possible liquid supplement. I do ponder as to how a company so invested in products to facilitate digestive absorption decided to change this product formulary.
