the problem i have found is the foot takes away the heat faster than the rest of the glass, prewarming helped , but as i am just a craft maker they are a bit harder to use, the extra long one i used just for gel wax as decrative due to the chimney affect , the heat from the wick being retained ,and glass getting to hot
