Butter Pecan Shortbread Cookies

These shortbread cookies, whether butter pecan, traditional, or lemon drop are the best shortbread I've ever had outside Holyrood Palace in Scotland. And I could buy those, but the shipping would be a killer. These are buttery, have amazing texture and are not too sweet, like some of the more commercial brands. Short of making them myself I can't do better than these and am glad someone is baking them. I use them for gifts fairly often, but I love eating them.
